FEEDING DIRECTIONS
- Designed to be fed free-choice to beef cattle on pasture where selenium deficiency is a possibility and/or water is high in sodium or soils are alkaline/saline.
- Designed to supplement forages low in copper or magnesium
- Expected intake is 50 – 100 grams/head/day. This may vary with water quality, distance from water and weather conditions.
- Designed to shed water from rain or snow, such that the mineral stays lump-free and palatable under adverse weather conditions.
- If possible, be sure large accumulations of water are able to drain from the mineral feeder.
CAUTIONS
- Directions for use must be carefully followed.
- Do not use this feed in association with another feed containing supplemental selenium.
- Do not feed this mineral to sheep.
- This feed contains a level of magnesium considered inadequate to prevent conditions associated with hypo-magnesemia.
